Event will include Friends of the Poor Walk around the athletic field, games, raffles, food vendors and fun for everyone to enjoy!

$20 minimum registration includes:
- Friends of Poor Walk T-Shirt*
- Raffle ticket
*T-shirt sizes not guaranteed for any registrations received after March 2.
- Day of event registration times are between 10AM and 1PM.
- No Pets, Service animals only.
- Deadline for all sponsorships is March 2, 2026.
About the Society of St Vincent De Paul
East Hillsborough County District
March 28th at 10AM kicks off the 1st Annual SVdP EHD Friends of the Poor Walk! We are hoping to make this a family fun event that will grow for future years to come. 100% of the proceeds will go back into the community to help our neighbors.
- East Hillsborough District (EHD) supports the Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Gibsonton, Ruskin areas covering 13 zip codes.
- Last year we helped over 2,000 families with shelter, utilities, etc. spending $620,000 – all families were neighbors who live within our communities.
- We serve our neighbors through financial assistance, food pantries, thrift stores and personal attention as we meet with our neighbors to help listen and guide them.
